In this section, you will learn about oral health. We look at the conditions that can affect the oral cavity and how diet plays a part in oral health, as well as the importance of good oral hygiene, including brushing and problems that can occur such as cancer and gum disease.

In this section, you will learn how to assist a person with Dementia with their oral care, including visiting the dentist, caring for dentures, diet, and diabetes.

People with learning disabilities, or physical and learning disabilities often need assistance with their oral care. In this section, you will learn about the conditions of the oral cavity you may encounter, including epilepsy and its effects.

Finally, we look at dental trauma, and how to provide first aid following a dental injury.

In the summary, you will find important information on how to complete your final test, and print your certificate of completion and other course resources.
